Make the Earth Richer

Responsibilities of All: Rich | Poor | Corporations | Governments
Resources: Land | Labor | Capital | Time | Knowledge

The Five Resource Groups

Time

The forth resource group is time-  The time each of us have in our lifetime, the time for doing all the labors we need done.  Time is also vital in the amount of time it takes to grow something or manufacture it.  We need to plan so that we have enough time to do and make the capital we need.

Time is also critical for dealing with the major issues of natural resources, Over-Population, Species Extinction, and Global Warming

Our time is limited.

We have limited time in a day to do our labors in.  We have limited time in our lives- 30,000 days alive, if we are lucky enough to live 50 days past our 82nd birthday. Time is also important to plants and animals to give them time to grow and reproduce, to soils to recover any lost nutrients from the food pulled from them.  It takes us time to plan and make things, our infrastructure cannot be created overnight.  We only have so much time left before many of our finite natural resources run out, making much of our present infrastructure useless. Specifically, we have a very limited time to get a system of sustainable transportation on its feet before this one disastrously comes to a dead stop because it ate up its food source.  We have less than 10,000 days of plentiful oil, less than 10,000 days to have in place the post oil infrastructure that will keep us moving and fed.  And with global warming and other detrimental human effects getting worse, we have little time  before predicted mass extinctions happen to our plants and animals, that we can, if we act quickly and wisely, avoid the loss of so many.
